Full-service maintenance and repair services for two Lodox eXero-DR digital radiography systems operated by the Oregon State Police Medical Examiner Program, for a five-year term. *** SERVICES: Platinum full parts and labor coverage for each system, including (1) all parts required to maintain the system in good operating condition, including the X-ray tube, at no additional cost; (2) one on-site preventive maintenance visit per system per contract year; (3) unlimited emergency on-site service visits; (4) unlimited remote and telephone support; (5) all manufacturer software updates and upgrades; and (6) all labor and travel. *** BASIS: The eXero-DR is a proprietary low-dose linear-slit digital radiography system. The manufacturer has confirmed in writing that Lodox NA, LLC is the only source for eXero-DR equipment, software, parts, and technical support in North America, and that no other company or person has been trained or authorized to service the equipment. Service requires manufacturer-proprietary diagnostic and calibration software, OEM parts including the X-ray tube, and manufacturer-certified technicians. No statewide price agreement covers service for this equipment. The full determination and supporting findings are attached. *** PROTEST: An Affected Person may protest this determination in writing under OAR 125-247-0710.
