The State of Oregon, acting by and through the Department of Forestry, issuing this Request for Proposal under the provisions of ORS 279B.060 to establish a Contract for conference hosting services and incidentals goods. Agency is holding a Fire Protection Division (PROTECTION) Training Symposium . The overall objective of the symposium is to develop a stronger alignment of District and Salem staff with the mission, values, and goals of the Fire Protection Division by developing a shared understanding of public trust, discussing the most current knowledge, trends, and experiences in emergency response to primarily wild land fire management, and learning from one another. The purpose of the RFP is to establish a Contract to conduct the symposium. Additional details on the Scope of the goods or services or both are included in the Scope of Work/Specifications section. Agency anticipates the award of one Contract from this RFP. The initial term of the Contract is anticipated to be less than one month.
