The District is seeking competitive Proposals from qualified organizations interested in
providing fuels management services to reduce the risk of catastrophic crown fires, and to improve forest health within Shevlin Park, Bend, OR.
Slashing, hand pile/cover will be used to thin trees which could act as ladder fuels and to affect the crown closure within mixed conifer stands, thereby reducing the risk of a catastrophic crown fire.
