In accordance with Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 137-049-0440(5) and (6)(c), the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is rejecting all bids received for bid #S-73000-00015486, NB Boone Bridge (I-5 Over Willamette River at MP 283.11) Joint Rehabilitation Project. ODOT has concluded that Section 00568 of the Special Provisions was ambiguous on the issue of the Temporary Joint System being included in Section 00586.01, Acceptable Manufactures, which potentially impacted the solicitation procedures and ultimately the bid items; thus, ODOT has found that this ambiguity in the Solicitation Document created a risk to the fairness and integrity of the competitive bidding process, and it is in the public interest to reject all offers.
ODOT plans to revise and re-bid this project.
